COPS AND ROBBERS AND BAPTISMS

I've learnt a lot about the spirit and understanding and listening to it. I'm learning so much here. It's
funny this is the time I'm going to talk about and look back on for the rest of my life. crazy. 

Ok so don't freak out.... Yesterday at 5am we got robbed. haha. A palauan teenager came in to our apartment and in to our room turned on the light and took my camera (with all my photos) and elder bushes watch. We both heard a noise and woke up and the light was on and the door was open and we were confused so I turned it off and then closed the door then I couldn't see my camera next to my bed where I left it so I turned the light on and opened the door and walked out and there was the guy standing by  the front door (which was open) in the apartment. And he started running and before I knew it I was jumping over the couch and out the door down the street chasing him and yelling "Oi IT'S OKAY, JUST GIVE THE STUFF BACK" He went down in to the bush and I was too far away from my companion at that point. So yeah - police came and everything and they're trying to
find our stuff but i think those memories are gone for good... But yeah that was yesterday

IN OTHER MORE IMPORTANT NEWS... VORWINNA WAS BAPTISED! FINALLY! I have been teaching her since I got here and the Elders before me since January. SO AMAZING. She radiates LIGHT! She was confirmed yesterday and I'm so happy and joyful for her. :)

But yeah that's the main highlights of this week haha. :)

PRESIDENT CAME TO VISIT

Yeah having President Zarbock come was really awesome. He came teaching with us for a couple of lessons which was cool. He is so powerful. 

This next transfer will be good hopefully. 

The proffits are awesome.  So nice. We have been getting them settled and getting their permits and internet and phones set up. 

Oh man conference was so good haha. I never listened before now. Sometimes i wonder what the heck I've been doing my whole life. haha. It was so good. My favourite was probably Jorg. I forget where he's from but it was saturday afternoon session. i really liked it. 

The biggest thing I kept hearing in conference was "Decisions Determine Destiny" and it's making me think more - but I don't have to think about all this stuff for a long while haha.  So that's good.

TEACHING IN ONLY PALAUAN

This week has been really good. I taught a lot in only Palauan which is boosting my confidence. And one of the locals said i have really good pronounciation - which might have just been him being pitiful but still it gave me a confidence booster. haha. 

We almost had a baptism this saturday but we decided on the day because of some stuff that came up - that it would be better to move it to this saturday.


Vorwinna who is one of the investigators I have been teaching since I got here but then moved to topside is now our investigator again because of the lack of missionaries in topside. 

She is hopefully set for next saturday. SO HAPPY! so it's been pretty good. 

At the end of this transfer i would have been out 6 months. Crazy hey? wowed. 

The Profitts are coming tomorrow then president Zarbock the next day for
zone conference. Pretty crazy. Exciting though. 

I'm just really happy to be a missionary and whatever else happens in my life i'm okay with coz I know what is really important and that heavenly father will
provide for me if I give him everything. :) 

But yeah it's been really
good.

OH and the water has been out for the last 3 days in our appartment
lol. NO GOOD. but we'll see what happens. :)

ROLMII IS BAPTISED!! This week was amazing...

I love hearing about everything that is going on :) Sounds like you're having a blast with everyone in utah! So glad you guys and the Bush's are getting along well!! :) 

I just found out this week that two girls from church have little teenage crushes on me....awkward...hahah.

This week has been SO good. Saturday was an especially special day. We went to a readathon at the church and we read 10 chapters of doctrine and covenants and there was 3 investigators of ours there. Erreu and Ibakes. and fritz lol. But these two young guys are totally embracing church right now. It makes my heart so happy haha. So hopefully erreu will be baptised this Saturday.  Pretty excited. And ibakes and his sister hazel are SO solid. We only met them this week and they've already come to activities and church and are reading the book of mormon. 

We saw Rolmii off at the airport on saturday night. SO awesome. and... THE BAPTISM! wooooooooooow. What a spiritual, special night. Right before Rowena and I went to the font I said 'you ready?' and she smiled and started crying and said yes. She was sooooooooooo happy and overcome by the spirit. It was beautiful.  When I said the baptismal prayer my voice sounded amplified haha. at least to me. But I am just so humbled and blessed to have been able to be a part of her journey. She is such an awesome person who is embracing the gospel to her fullest. And ashanda her daughter was also baptised and it was so amazing. I felt the spirit burning in my chest.

SO GOOD! So this week was quite amazing haha.

I am verrrrrrrrrry sad the carters are leaving. They are SO awesome. I am SO grateful for them!

SLOW BUT A GOOD WEEK ON PALAU

This week was a good week! A little slow but still good. We really had some amazing breakthroughs with some long times investigators. So close to baptism too. WE HAVEN't heard about any news for transfers yet.

Yesterday at PCC I ate something but I'm not telling you what. hahahahaha. 

We have like 7 new investigators at pcc and having fhe tonight with them. Today we are going to play
volleyball at long island in malakal. Sister ale goes home to aus this week!! So crazy. 

I love you mum! Could you send a CTR ring size 9 for a member here. Like a cool black one or something. His name is dice man. 

I GOT the loom bands and your awesome letter. I am so so grateful for your testimony mum :) If you didn't endure after your baptism we would not be an eternal family. SO i am so thankful to you :) I gave the loom stuff to some girls at church :) 

Both of my recent converts have been at all church meetings this week. SO BLESSED! :)
