I LOVE THIS GOSPEL, AND THIS ISLAND

This week was really good - still out from teaching a lot coz of the pink eye haha.  BUT we have still been teaching Joe - he is CONCRETE!

He is so solid and he is just so excited to be baptised on Christmas day.  He is so amazing - he was at church again on Sunday and even the branch thanksgiving! amazing!!!

We found a new investigator who is a member's sister called Lois.  Her son has been at church a lot and from what I heard she wouldn't let him be baptised - so this is kind of a miracle she has agreed to baptism on Christmas day also.

Moi Moi is also preparing for baptism this Saturday - she has come SO far - it is crazy!!!! She is actually open with some of her feelings and she receives so many answers to her prayers. It's awesome - I'm so excited for her - she's really hard to describe but the change is amazing.

It was a great thanksgiving week - my first thanksgiving ever. The food was MMMMMMMMMMMMMM! hahaha.  It was a really good week :) 

I'm all good haha.  I'm happy and full of faith and light right now - because of everyone around me and supporting me.

I love this gospel and these people and this island SO MUCH! seriously hahaha

LOVE TEACHING AND LOVE PALAU

This week was good. Elder Climer had pink eye which is conjunctivitis - still kinda has it. So we were quarantined - I got to go out some nights and take a member with me and teach and it was good that I could because we have found the most GOLDEN investigator EVER! His name is Joe. 

We have been mostly inside because of the pink haha. But JOE is a golden investigator - he is SO PREPARED by Heavenly Father. It's awesome. He is set to be baptised on Christmas day :) He was a referral from our recent convert Vorwinna :) He already came to church and has read a good chunk of the book of Mormon and knows it's true. funny thing is one time back with Elder Murdoch we accidentally called him thinking it was a member and then finally realised it wasn't the member and then said bye. Joe said to me yesterday he remembers someone calling and saying his name was Elder something and he was like and look at me now!!!! He's AWESOME! 

It's been really good. Been working with a lot of less active families. I LOVE PALAU!

I got the camera and pants. THANK YOU! yes they are baggy  now hahaha. I didn't think they would be but I guess I'm a little smaller. THANK YOU SO MUCH MUM! Seriously!!! Got the suitcase too. The sisters told me a couple days before about the suitcase SO it was still a weird thing to see my suitcase haha.  That'll be great to give stuff around to people for Christmas :) THANK YOU! 

Oh the cookies! mmmmmm. And we are using the material to make Christmas tie's and scarves and vests hahaha. Oh and stop sending stuff! I have too much and I don't need anymore hahah :) I LOVE YOU!

Not sure about Christmas yet but I will email you as soon as I know :) 

I just took over directing ward choir since sister carter left. We're having a Christmas program soon :) really excited.

WESLEY WAS BAPTISED - BUSY IN PALAU

HEY GUESS WHAT! Reading is my new favorite thing. I read all the Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price and Doctrine and Covenants and almost finished Jesus the Chirst and have already finished A Marvelous Work and a Wonder hahaha - WHO KNEW?! 

New Stake Presidency sounds awesome!!!! So I'll be released by 'Family' haha. 

Elder Climer is awesome - he's half Spanish. 

I gave everyone haircuts this morning hahaha.  We are going to play sport today - so excited!!!! 

Wesley was baptised this week!!!!! SO AMAZING! I was able to confer the priesthood to him and ordain him to priest. I'll answer your questions...

What is your new apartment like?

It's good - smaller and had no hot water until we realised we should plug the hot water in hahaha

Did you have any trouble moving your stuff over?

No all good!

Can you  please take your vitamin C, b and multi and that other one?

Do you still drive the truck, or another car now?

Still the truck luckily the district leader gets the truck always haha

What does whitewashing mean?

It means neither of us have been in this area before!!

Do you still get to see the PCC kids?

Only at church and when they come teaching! I miss them!

All the time!!!! I have the BEST mum in the whole world!

Yeah it is not inthe bedroom though

Yes - it's the same place we were robbed hahaha

PICKED UP NEW COMPANION ON GUAM - BACK IN TIME TO BAPTISE DAKOTA

I went to Guam to pick up a new trainee called Elder Climer from Idaho falls and he's awesome! He's a convert and he's gunna do a lot of good here. 

So I moved area's I'm not in midtown anymore - I'm whitewashing topside which is HUGE and more Palauan speaking. It's Crazy. It's going to be a huge challenge but I'm excited. 

I'm still District leader and I'll be here for at least the next 3 months. Not sure after that though. It's Really good here though. 

Elder Bush is going to train a Chuukese elder soon hahaha. He goes to Guam tonight.  I'm gonna miss elder bush as my companion.  Palau is changing a lot. 

Oh and on Saturday night right when I got back I baptised DAKOTA hahaha.  It was cool! I'll send some photo's next week! :) 

But yeah that was my week - Guam was good - met a lot of awesome people. One of the Ap's Elder Barrus and I are planning to be roomates at BYU.   He wants to apply for MDT too and he's is a gooood singer and actor. So that's really exciting. 

Today we are gunna go see the big island and take pictures and stuff.  Since my camera got stolen, Elder Bush lets me borrow his :D

I LOVE PALAU

LOVE to hear about all that missionary work going on. 

I'm doing REALLY good - high on the spirit. 

We've just been teaching like crazy and focusing on the member or the branch too.

We taught like 45 lessons this week - and 205 this transfer! 

I'm doing really good.  I feel good.  I feel the spirit a lot I feel better about training the missionaries at district meeting and I feel SO blessed to be on this island - I love it so much! 

DAKOTA will be baptised this Saturday and possibly Moi Moi and Finola! 

Crazy stuff - then the week after that we will have PJ and Wesley from PCC.  I'll write more about them to you in a letter :) 

But yeah my week was good and this week will be good - I'm so blessed - couldn't be happier.

COPS AND ROBBERS AND BAPTISMS

I've learnt a lot about the spirit and understanding and listening to it. I'm learning so much here. It's
funny this is the time I'm going to talk about and look back on for the rest of my life. crazy. 

Ok so don't freak out.... Yesterday at 5am we got robbed. haha. A palauan teenager came in to our apartment and in to our room turned on the light and took my camera (with all my photos) and elder bushes watch. We both heard a noise and woke up and the light was on and the door was open and we were confused so I turned it off and then closed the door then I couldn't see my camera next to my bed where I left it so I turned the light on and opened the door and walked out and there was the guy standing by  the front door (which was open) in the apartment. And he started running and before I knew it I was jumping over the couch and out the door down the street chasing him and yelling "Oi IT'S OKAY, JUST GIVE THE STUFF BACK" He went down in to the bush and I was too far away from my companion at that point. So yeah - police came and everything and they're trying to
find our stuff but i think those memories are gone for good... But yeah that was yesterday

IN OTHER MORE IMPORTANT NEWS... VORWINNA WAS BAPTISED! FINALLY! I have been teaching her since I got here and the Elders before me since January. SO AMAZING. She radiates LIGHT! She was confirmed yesterday and I'm so happy and joyful for her. :)

But yeah that's the main highlights of this week haha. :)

PRESIDENT CAME TO VISIT

Yeah having President Zarbock come was really awesome. He came teaching with us for a couple of lessons which was cool. He is so powerful. 

This next transfer will be good hopefully. 

The proffits are awesome.  So nice. We have been getting them settled and getting their permits and internet and phones set up. 

Oh man conference was so good haha. I never listened before now. Sometimes i wonder what the heck I've been doing my whole life. haha. It was so good. My favourite was probably Jorg. I forget where he's from but it was saturday afternoon session. i really liked it. 

The biggest thing I kept hearing in conference was "Decisions Determine Destiny" and it's making me think more - but I don't have to think about all this stuff for a long while haha.  So that's good.
